Emirates Donates for Education: Corporate social responsibility in a thoughtful act, Emirates has donated 107 eco-friendly backpacks to SOS Children’s Villages in Lahore. These unique backpacks, part of the ‘Aircrafted KIDS by Emirates’ initiative, are made from upcycled materials from refurbished A380 and B777 aircraft and come stocked with hygiene products and important school supplies.

A Step Towards Sustainable Education Aid
The generous donation by the Emirates to support and improve education in Pakistan is the contribution to support the education in the country and provide the opportunity for underprivileged and needy students. The United Nations Goal of Sustainable Development will also be supported by this donation, that is the promotion of quality education.
The Vice President of Emirates shared his happiness for partnering with SOS Children’s Village. Mohammad Ali Nahari Alhashmi shared his joy for helping orphaned, vulnerable, underprivileged children by providing safe homes and support for education. This offer by Emirates not only supplies schools but also inspiring young learners.
A Lasting Impact on Young Learners
Saba Faisal, the National Director of SOS Children’s Villages Pakistan, highly thanked the Emirates for its contribution and donation to education, noting the excitement and joy of the children who received the backpacks happily. All the requirements of children are fulfilled by the Emirates including pens, notebooks, and hygiene kits etc. The Emirates’s donation also motiviating students to contniure thier education.
Global Commitment to Sustainable Giving
The Aircraft KIDS by Emirates’ initiative is part of the airline’s broader commitment to sustainability and repurposing aviation materials. The program aims to upcycle over 50,000 kg of materials from 191 aircraft undergoing cabin retrofits. Emirates has also extended similar donations to Bangladesh and India, bringing the total number of gifted backpacks in Asia to 700, following an earlier distribution of 1,239 bags in Africa.
